Sometimes its just too easy...

...I mean seriously, its like shooting fish in a barrel, and other such idioms as well. At my gym they have many classes that people can attend, you know, its a pretty regular thing for gyms to do. Without a doubt though, the funniest is the hip-hop dance class. The class is taught by a Japanese lady, who wears sweatpants that are about one hundred sizes too big, and t-shirt that hangs down to her knees and a cap that is always turned to the side. The class itself is made up of people of all ages. All ages. You honestly haven't lived until you have seen an old woman wearing cutoff camoflauge pants and a bandana, dancing like some girl from a Ja-Rule video. They also have the most uncoordinated man in the universe (we can smell our own). If there is anything that can make you feel more embarrassed for someone that can't dance than dancing, it is watching them do a dance that someone who can dance has coreographed(sp). On their own non-dancers will either stop, or settle for a simple sway and bounce. In a class, they have to go through complex move after complex move, and well...damn. On top of this it all seems so out of place. Oh well, I guess it is no stranger than a big unflexible white guy trying to do Yoga, in the class after hip-hop dancing. But that is a story for another day...

p.s. I am no longer being sued. They were looking for the 1966 Szalay.

I'm only dreaming of a white Christmas...

Surprise!! I bet you were expecting me to have another really depressing entry about how nobody likes me. Well, you were wrong! I am happy because I am coming home for new years, that and today is my Friday and I am looking forward to a three day weekend. In Japan people would call me genki (gain-kee). So anyhow, there it is for those of you who were not aware. Now then that said, I have a few questions (or requests for updates anyhow) now that my blog is functioning again. First, does anyone know what is happening for New Years? Second, is there going to be a gift exchange this year? Please let me know/keep me updated.

Now then lets turn to the news. Ironically, my news for this month does not come from Japan, rather it originates in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It would seem that I am being sued. Thats right, sued. I have been issued a sub poena and everything. So it would seem that I am going to court. Now then, the strangest part of all of this is that I have absolutely no idea what this is all about. The Plaintiff in this is an orthopaedic clinic in old F to the W (Fort Wayne). They say I owe them money, for what we haven't figured out yet. I am not too worried about it though, for 2 reasons. Exhibit A) I have not recieved any sort of late payment notifications, harrassing phone calls, etc. These are all things that one would expect to recieve before expensive court action would be taken. Exhibit B) I have never in my life, been treated at an orthopaedic clinic. Furthermore, to the best of my recollection I have never even gone to visit someone else who was in an orthopaedic clinic. I had to ask my mother what orthopaedic meant when I talked to her on the phone. According to her, it has to do with bones. I have only ever had one broken bone, which was my middle finger that I broke in elementary school (no funny story about flipping the bird either, it was just run over by rollerskates). So regardless, I have not let this dampen my spirits and genki I remain; I am confident that this will all get worked out. So until next time dear readers, keep in touch.
