Be gentle...

Ah, life goes on in Japan. This has been an interesting week so far. After not doing anything special or going out at all on my weekend (thursday and Friday) I went out the last two work nights, and there is a slight possibility that I will go Karaoke tonight. Who knows. Although, I believe that the most interesting thing (and the thing that inspired this entry) happened today during my follow up training. We were all sitting around half listening to the man explain some various/boring aspects of the job. In the background there is music playing. I was thinking, "hey I reckognize this song. Oh man what is this? Wait, I know..." I looked around the room with a puzzled expression, and meet a few other confused faces, as though everyone was saying "is this what I think it is?" Then the lyrics kicked in over the PA, "you don't always have to fuck her hard, in fact sometimes thats not right to do." Keep in mind that we were in the middle of a school, a school that teaches many children to speak english. I doubt that this was the kind of english that parents had in mind for their kids. Yes, they had "Fuck Her Gently" by Tenacious D, on the stereo. It was good for a laugh, which I think confused the guy who was training us. We didn't explain it, why ruin the mystery.
